What does Lilly Allen, a barn, and high fashion all have in common? Chanel; and no one could have pulled these three elements together better than Karl Lagerfeld. The Grand Palais, home to all of the f/w, haute couture, and s/s shows, was converted into one giant hoedown for the spring/ summer 2010 Chanel runway show. Black, Ivory, Beige, rough textures, lace, and transparency all found their way into the spring/ summer line this season. And, if anyone was capable of making a chic, beautiful CLOG, Chanel is the one for the job. the show was fun, up beat, and youthful. something that is definitely needed in these times. the line consisted of a staggering 72 looks and a large variety of handbags and shoes. i wanted to post every look.
