Chanel S/S Haute Couture 2010 runway intro

I FELL IN LOVE with the Chanel S/S haute couture line this season! Oh my god, it is so pretty. Karl Lagerfeld can do no wrong, ever. The hair, the music, the shoes, the dresses (of course), the jackets, were all flawless. Chanel's haute couture shows a prime example of what haute couture should be held to. Thank you Karl for making our closets so beautiful, and our girls so stunning.

Yves Saint Laurent S/S 2010 Runway

Although its cohesion was debatable, YSL's spring summer 2010 was a lovely collection of everything from formal, business, and work wear. Like all YSL shows, they're were the more edgy editorial pieces, along with sleek, modern garments that's could be worn by the everyday woman looking for a little luxury in her life.

Prada Spring Summer 2010 Runway

Crystalized: Prada's spring summer 2010 runway show was the essence of everything fashion should be: fun, youthful, and fresh. floral prints, bright whites, translucent heels, and even crystals found their way down the runway.
Miuccia Prada's vision was to create a line of, "business to beach" wear. the clean lines were contrasted with flowy blouses. There were also a slue of baby doll tops. the line was youthful and contemporary.
No hidden meanings. just plain fun. "When things are bad, you have to come out from that. Optimism," Miuccia said, "is a choice."

Balenciaga Spring Summer 2010 Ad Campaign

It's Bizarre. I normally tend to like the looks better on the runway, then when they go into print; but for what ever reason, perhaps the gray back round, I did not fall in love with Balenciaga's s/s collection until i saw their ad campaign. Never the less, job well done.

Gucci Spring Summer 2010 Runway

For spring/ summer 2010, Frida's use of pattern and shape was so appealing and clean. The ad campaign so far in print does not do this collection justice. And OH MY GOD, the shoes...
